We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Professional to join our team at Nurse Seekers. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
">About the Role:
- This is an exciting opportunity to work in a quality family-run nursery with an Outstanding OFSTED status, located near Northampton.
- The ideal candidate will have CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Early Years or equivalent, as well as excellent spoken and written English skills.
- We are looking for someone with passion, creativity, joy, flexibility, reliability, commitment, and good communication skills to build strong relationships with children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, supportive, and caring environment for young children, considering each child's development and individual needs.
- Maintain high standards of quality within the Nursery, including the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
- Participate in planning the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate children's profiles with observations and development records.
- Be a key person building relationships with a small group of children and their families, supporting and developing good practice regarding special needs and inclusion.
- Undertake health, safety, and cleanliness responsibilities throughout the Nursery, operating high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ensure children's safety, following Child Protection procedures when necessary.
- Support and mentor colleagues studying NVQ childcare qualifications.
- Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions.
