Transformative SEND Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team at Danecourt School, a specialist provision for children with severe and complex needs.

About the Role

As a SEND teacher, you will have the opportunity to create tailored learning plans that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each student, fostering a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes growth, self-confidence, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans that address the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible support for each student.
  • Embrace continuous professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and methodologies in SEND education.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive and inclusive curriculum that meets the needs of students with complex needs.
Requirements
  • A strong background in special education, with experience working with students with a variety of special educational needs.
  • Proven ability to create inclusive and diverse learning experiences that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of students.
