About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse Associate to join our team in the Warrington Children and Young People's Mental Health Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of children and young people with mental health and wellbeing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the provision of a high-quality child health service, working collaboratively with primary and community care colleagues to deliver local and national health objectives.
  2. Undertake holistic assessments of children and young people, identifying need and developing individualised care plans with the involvement and consent of children, young people, carers, and other agencies as required.
  3. Administer medicines in line with trust policies and procedures, and use additional equipment as needed.
  4. Participate in health needs assessments to identify areas of unmet need, and work collaboratively with other agencies to develop multi-agency partnerships and joint working.
  5. Complete Routine Outcome Measures (ROMs) as part of clinical duties, and ensure ROMs are reviewed as a regular part of managerial and clinical supervision discussions.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Associate and on the NMC register or Assistant Practitioner.
  • Experience of working with children and young people, particularly in a mental health service.
  • Ability to travel for work purposes within the Mersey Care area.
