We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maths Lecturer to join our team in a Cat A prison. As a Maths Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality maths education to learners, helping them to gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Functional Skills Maths (Entry Level- Level 2) to learners in a prison setting
- Develop and implement engaging maths lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners
- Work collaboratively with the education department to ensure seamless delivery of maths education
- Contribute to the development of maths curriculum and resources
Requirements:
- Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics
- A Degree, or professional qualification, in maths or a related field
- Teaching Qualification
- Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies
- Excellent team working, communication, and interpersonal skills

What You'll Need to Know:
- The successful candidate will be required to obtain the appropriate prison clearance before starting the role and maintain this throughout employment
