Mathematics Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Maths Teacher to join our dedicated team at a secondary school in Oldham. As a passionate educator with strong behaviour management skills, you will inspire and motivate our students. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge of Maths, excellent classroom management skills, and a passion for teaching Maths.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, setting and marking work to a high standard, and encouraging students to develop their mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities. They will also support students in preparing for GCSE Maths and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
• Setting and marking work to a high standard
• Encouraging students to develop their mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities
• SUPPORTING STUDENTS IN PREPARING FOR GCSE MATHS
• Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge of Maths
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A passion for teaching Maths and a commitment to professional development
• Experience working in a secondary school setting (preferred)

Salary Information: We offer a competitive daily rate of £130-£230, making this an attractive opportunity for experienced Maths Teachers. With a full Maths timetable across KS3 and KS4, you will have the chance to inspire and motivate our students.
