About the Role


The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of clients and provide a mixed service across accounts, tax, VAT, and bookkeeping. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior to grow with a dynamic company that offers a relaxed working environment, flexible approach, and a good work-life balance.



Responsibilities



  • Preparation of annual accounts and management accounts
  • Meetings with clients
  • Preparation of corporate tax returns
  • Partnership returns & individual self-assessment tax returns
  • Review and preparation of bookkeeping work, and VAT returns
  • Overseeing the work of more junior team members and supporting them accordingly


Requirements


To succeed in this challenging role, you must be:



  • ACCA/ACA qualified, or qualified by experience
  • 3+ years practice experience
  • Experience of Xero, Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous
  • Commutable from Mid Kent- Maidstone, Medway, Tonbridge, Ashford, Chatham, Rochester, Gillingham, Faversham etc.
  • A highly competitive benefits package, including a salary of around £45,000 per annum, plus additional perks such as parking, are on offer.
