Key Responsibilities
  • Empower Independence: Assist residents with daily routines, promoting their autonomy and dignity.
  • Personalized Care: Develop and implement personalized care plans, providing tailored support to meet each resident's unique needs.
  • Health and Wellbeing: Monitor residents' health, communicate concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and facilitate communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
  • Social Support: Foster social interactions among residents and staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Safety and Comfort: Collaborate with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, and respond promptly to emergencies or call bells.
  • Nutritional Support: Assist residents who require extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Spread Smiles: Bring joy to our residents' lives and make them smile every day.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant is ideal, but we also welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills who are enthusiastic about working with the elderly.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in providing care for the elderly and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Values: Integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork are essential qualities for success in this role.
