We are seeking a Cloud Adoption Consultant to join our EngineeringUK team in EMEA. As a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect, you will craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. You'll build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer
  2. Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity
  3. Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
  4. Using your technical acumen and customer obsession, you'll drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  5. Consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives
  6. Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
  7. With a bias for action, you'll proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
  8. Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud
  9. Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops and other enablement sessions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  1. Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
  2. Experience in technical engineering
  3. Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Desirable skills and experience include:

  1. Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
  2. Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and 25 days annual leave. Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
