**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious individual to join our team as a Skilled PSV Engineer/Mechanic. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and roadworthiness of our fleet of PCV vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform servicing and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
  • Continuously improve vehicle standards to meet or exceed Arriva's high standards.
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
  • Diagnose and resolve vehicle faults to ensure reliability and maintenance meets Arriva's standards.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including earlies, lates, and weekends, with a minimum of 5 days per week.

**Requirements**

  • Proven knowledge of PSV/HGV maintenance with recognized qualifications (e.g. Level 3 NVQ).
  • Ability to work safely and unsupervised to pre-set standards and guidelines.
  • Desirable skills include electrical knowledge and a PCV license.
  • Inspection of vehicles for scheduled maintenance, with IRTEC accreditation a plus.
