Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Drama educator to join our team at an Ofsted Good, mixed secondary school in London.

About the School:

  • A medium-size secondary school where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and contributing to the department's improvement plan.
  • To assist the Head of Department in ensuring that teaching in your subject is of high quality.
  • Participate in staff development activities provided within the department and whole school.
  • Deliver syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, assessment and marking policies, and teaching strategies to meet student needs.

The Right Candidate Will Be:

  • Confident in teaching Drama to A-level standard.
  • Creative, patient, and willing to think outside the box.
  • Holds a degree related to Drama.
  • In possession of a teaching qualification (QTS).
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Can provide teaching references for the last 2 years.
  • A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service.
