London, Greater London, United Kingdom Iwoca Full time

We're looking for a talented Financial Crime Investigator to join our team at Iwoca. As an AML Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in preventing financial crime and ensuring the integrity of our business.

About us

Iwoca is a leading fintech company that provides fast and flexible finance to small businesses. We've made several billion in funding available to over 100,000 businesses since our launch in 2012. Our mission is to finance one million businesses by making our finance ever more relevant and accessible to more businesses using cutting-edge technology, data science, and exceptional customer service.

Your mission will be:

  • Investigating cases flagged as potential fraud/AML risks, including CIFAS flags, facial biometric anomalies, device-based anomalies, signs of document tampering, and more.
  • Taking ownership of customer verification on a case-by-case basis and driving what information is required to reduce the risk of fraud and money laundering.
  • Working closely with our Account Managers, Credit Analysts, and Broker teams to maintain our high fraud prevention standards while ensuring a fast and slick service.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience within a financial crime-related role. You'll need a pragmatic, risk-based approach to case investigation and data analytics skills would be a bonus. In return, you'll enjoy a competitive salary of around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Benefits include:

  • Medical insurance from Vitality, including discounted gym membership.
  • 25 days of holiday, an extra day off for your birthday, and the option to buy or sell an additional 5 days of annual leave.
  • Instant access to emotional and mental health support with our partner, Spill.
  • Generous maternity and paternity leave.
  • A nursery tax benefit scheme to help you save money.
  • Extra leave if you want to travel or study.
  • One-month fully paid sabbatical after 4 years.
  • Cycle-to-work scheme.
  • Electric car scheme.
