About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team at Puro Accountancy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing accounting advice and support, and assisting with the development of junior staff members.

Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Prepare accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, and provide regular updates to clients.
  • Accounting Advice: Offer expert advice and support to clients on a range of accounting and tax matters.
  • Team Development: Assist with the development of junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all work is completed accurately and to the required standard, and liaise with clients, HMRC, and other external stakeholders as necessary.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of practice experience.
  • ACCA qualified, finalist, or equivalent.
  • Personal and corporate tax knowledge.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
