Job Title: HVAC Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Liaison to join our team at https://www.energyjobline.com/sitemap. As an HVAC Liaison, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HVAC equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical oversight of the Client HVAC equipment contract, with a focus on equipment follow-up and collaboration with the Client layout and HVAC system teams.
  • Representation of the Responsible Designer HVAC contract team in meetings with the Client and supplier.
  • Reporting on the progress of equipment technical open points during fortnightly meetings with the contractor and Client.
  • Monitoring contractor deliverables related to handover activities, including seismic calculation notes, HVAC Release Report, and HVAC database.
  • Coordinating and conducting technical assessments of the impacts of CCRs (Contractor Change Requests).
  • Managing the processing of modifications, including monitoring progress and generating reports as needed.
  • Updating the HVAC database and managing CTS (Change Transfer Sheet) issues with the Client according to the schedule.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Seismic calculation experience (FEA - Finite Element Analysis).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in system engineering, layout engineering, or relevant experience.
  • Proactive and confident in communicating with others, particularly those based in remote offices.
  • Experience in project configuration management.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Navisworks or equivalent software.
  • Knowledge of HVAC system and equipment sizing (AHU, fans, filters, water coils).
  • HVAC knowledge of Pressurised Water Reactor system design principles.

  • 12-month fixed-term contract with options to extend.
  • 3 days on-site, 2 days WFH.
  • 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
