About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a partner school in Southampton. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students with autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Assist teachers with classroom preparation and management, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
- Individual Support: Provide one-to-one support to students with autism, helping them to reinforce their learning and overcome challenges.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success and well-being.
- Lesson Implementation: Assist with the implementation of lesson plans and educational activities, adapting to the needs of students with autism.
- Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and protection of students with autism, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
