We are seeking a skilled School Health and Well-being Expert to join our team of dedicated professionals in the field of public health nursing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting and supporting the health of school-aged children and their families through the Healthy Child Programme 5-19 year olds. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of current health issues impacting school nursing services and be able to provide expert guidance and support to families and healthcare professionals alike.
About the Opportunity
This full-time position offers an estimated salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, with additional benefits including flexible working arrangements, generous annual leave entitlements, and access to NHS discount programs. Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess relevant qualifications and experience in public health nursing, including a Registered Nurse Part 1/RSCN/RMN certification, Specialist Community Public Health Nurse School Nursing qualification, and Mentorship in Clinical Practice/ENB998 certificate. Strong leadership skills, excellent computer literacy, and the ability to write detailed reports and referrals are essential. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ongoing evidence-based practice, with evidence of professional development and participation in specialist projects.
