Job Title: 7.5T Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5T delivery driver to join our team at Driver Hire Uxbridge. As a 7.5T driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations within the UB postcode areas.

Job Description:

As a 7.5T delivery driver, you will be working on a temporary ad-hoc basis, with shifts not guaranteed. You will be paid on a PAYE basis, with rates ranging from £15.50 to £18.00 per hour, including holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver goods to various locations within the UB postcode areas
  • Work on a temporary ad-hoc basis, with shifts not guaranteed
  • Be paid on a PAYE basis, with rates ranging from £15.50 to £18.00 per hour, including holiday pay
Requirements:
  • Valid UK CAT C1 licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN)
  • A manual driving licence
  • At least 1-year experience as a 7.5T driver / LGV / HGV (references required)
  • Have more than 90 days appropriate driving experience (Cat C1) in the past 12 months
  • Be over the age of 25 years (insurance purposes)
  • Be physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting
  • Have excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
Benefits:
  • We pay for a minimum of 10 hours a day (breaks are not paid)
  • PAYE £15.50 to £18.00 per hour (including holiday pay)
