Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is £40,766 - £56,095, depending on experience. This includes the NHS Scotland reduction in full-time working hours from 37 to 36.5 hours per week, applied pro-rata for part-time staff.
Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic therapist to join our Occupational Therapy Service. The successful candidate will provide specialist occupational therapy in adult stroke care, focusing on assessment and treatment to enable timely discharge from hospital and maximize function and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to rotational therapists and therapy support workers.
- Deputise for the team lead as required.
- Promote opportunities for continuous personal development (CPD) with regular supervision, appraisal, and in-service training.
Requirements
This post requires previous experience of providing specialist occupational therapy in adult stroke care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
