Nursery Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team at GSL Education. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children, ensuring their developmental needs are met with care and professionalism.

• Plan and implement engaging and educational activities for children, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for all children, adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Monitor and record children's progress and development, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and teamwork.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized classroom, promoting a culture of respect and responsibility.
• Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety guidelines, ensuring the well-being of children and staff.

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent), demonstrating a strong foundation in childcare principles and practices.
• Apprenticeships are also considered for those looking to gain a qualification while working, providing a valuable opportunity for professional development.
