Job Title: Catering Equipment Engineer

Workshop Recruitment is seeking an experienced Catering Equipment Engineer to join their team in Bishops Cleeve. The successful candidate will be based at the head office and will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of catering equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular safety checks on catering equipment to ensure it is safe and fit for use.
  • Carry out safety checks on kitchen units to ensure they are safe and fit for use.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues with catering equipment, kitchen units, and kitchen installations.
  • Maintain a good understanding of the operation of all catering equipment within the hire fleet and the business criticality of each item.
  • Complete all documentation in a proper and timely manner in regards to equipment.
  • Keep your working area clean and stocked, ready to work at all times.
  • Travel to site to complete repairs and/or commission items of equipment or kitchen installations as required.
  • Assist and support the Technical Support Department as and when required.
Requirements:
  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Clean & Tidy Appearance.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good Mechanical & Electrical knowledge gained either through work experience or qualifications.
  • Naturally curious individual with fault finding / problem solving, and judgement skills.
  • Customer focused with a courteous and professional manner.
  • Good organisational and timekeeping skills.
  • Must be organized with attention to work administration and van stock procedures.
