As a self-employed interpreter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpreting services in your native language and English.
The role involves working as an intermediary between clients and their service users, facilitating effective communication and understanding. This may involve face-to-face, telephone, or video interpreting.
You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain impartial and maintain confidentiality.
A minimum of 21 years old and fluent in both English and another language is required. Formal qualifications such as DPSI, Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration, or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.
Estimated salary £25-30 per hour.
