At Randstad, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a renowned school in Leatherhead. This is a permanent opportunity that offers the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of learners with high-functioning ASC.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will work on a whole-class basis, helping to develop the academic, social, and emotional skills of students aged 5 to 16. You will be part of a vibrant community of over 80 pupils, with a residential and school-based learning environment that provides exceptional education.
Key Responsibilities- Support SEN learners across KS1-KS4 on a 1:1, small group, and classroom basis
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, parents evenings, and school training events
We are looking for an individual with prior care or education experience (desirable) who can demonstrate resilience, compassion, and dedication to supporting SEN learners. The successful candidate will also benefit from Comprehensive Team Teach training provided by the school.
