Royal Mail is seeking an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join its team at the Midlands Parcel Super Hub. As part of this exciting transformation, you'll be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of automation assets through completion of effective maintenance procedures.

You'll perform maintenance tasks, including preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, as well as provide effective and efficient support to the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Team Leads. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering (minimum ONC Electrical Engineering NVQ Level 3 – or equivalent) and experience in maintaining automation equipment, ideally Programme Logic Controllers (PLC), will be essential in this role.

A competitive salary of £51,051 per annum, night shift allowance of £2,500 per annum, a defined contribution pension scheme, with 22.5 days (15 shifts) annual leave plus bank holidays and free parking, is on offer. Additionally, a weekend supplement for Saturday (£51 per attendance) and Sunday (£102 per attendance) shift attendance may also be available.
