Our client, a well-established Environmental Consultancy, is seeking an ambitious Ecologist to join their team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for ecology and a drive to succeed.

About the Job
  • Undertake protected species surveys and contribute to the development of tenders and fee quotations.
  • Produce technical reports with assistance from senior colleagues where needed.
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects, with some larger projects undertaken with guidance.
Requirements
  • A degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of industry experience, preferably with a protected species license.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and the ability to apply it correctly.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM) membership is desirable.
Remuneration

A competitive salary ranging from £26,000 to £33,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a generous pension scheme, hybrid working, TOIL, and opportunities for career progression and training.
