We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Computer and Coding Educator to join our team at an outstanding school in Bridgwater. As a Computer and Coding Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students with diverse needs, including those on the autistic spectrum, with social and emotional needs, or with other mental health difficulties.


About the Role

  • This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our school and create a truly exceptional learning environment.
  • You will hold teaching or tutoring experience and ideally a degree, with recent experience of delivering lessons up to GCSE level.
  • You will be responsible for providing the highest quality of education, care, and preparation for life for all students in the school.
  • You will facilitate and encourage a learning experience that provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • You will contribute to raising standards of student attainment and behaviour.
  • You will share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
  • Previous experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is not essential but is preferred.
  • You will have demonstrable experience in planning, delivery, and classroom management, with a dedication to ensuring the best outcomes for individuals.
  • You will have a working knowledge of Safeguarding & Child Protection Procedures.
