Adult Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as an Adult Independent Sexual Violence Advisor. This rewarding role will involve providing emotional and practical support to victims of rape and sexual assault across the Avon and Somerset Police Area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with survivors, providing a high-quality, survivor-focused service.
  • Work closely with the Bridge (SARC), CYPS, Police, CPS, and other agencies to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive approach.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in trauma-informed support and the criminal justice process.
  • Employ a flexible and creative approach to meet the diverse needs of survivors.
  • Hold a current full driving license and have access to an appropriate vehicle.
