Technical Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Manager to join our team at the Anglian Water @one Alliance. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in delivering our ambitious Asset Management Period (AMP8) programme.
As a Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our technical outputs meet the requirements of the Totex Delivery Process, while also meeting project affordability within agreed timescales. You will work closely with our project teams to deliver complete designs that meet project requirements, while embracing technological advancements and driving excellence in Health & Safety.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and embedding standard products, quality standards, and collaborative working approaches to optimise performance and reputation.
- Driving and championing excellence in Health & Safety, completing required audits and documentation, and ensuring the safety of all personnel during projects.
- Liaising with Lead Project Managers, Integrated Project Leaders, and Discipline Heads to plan the technical aspects of projects, allocating resources to meet project demands.
- Managing a wide range of diverse stakeholder groups, acting as the trusted and visible technical link between Operations, Construction, and Commissioning.
- Providing an environment where individuals can thrive and develop, enhancing the overall team's performance by consistently pushing boundaries and outperforming.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree, HNC, or HND in Engineering and have experience in a technical role, with a strong track record of managing designs and multi-disciplinary projects. You will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and have excellent communication and leadership skills.
