About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out cleaning duties safely and effectively, adhering to NHS National Standards
  • Perform housekeeping and/or Hostess duties as required by Team Leaders
  • Assist nursing staff during managed meal times with portioning and plating food from food trolleys
  • Prepare and deliver ward stores and supplies to wards and departments
  • Report details of faults and failures of electrical equipment/fabric of the building to Team Leader or Ward Manager
Person Specification
  • NVQ level 1 in Support Services or equivalent level of working experience
  • Good knowledge of customer care, cleaning practices, and infection control regulations
  • Ability to work on own or part of a team
  • Experience in cleaning and/or catering food service
