Job Title: Early Years Educator - Babies Room

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team in the Baby Room. As a key member of our nursery, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for our youngest children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating a calm and loving atmosphere that caters to the individual needs of each baby.
  • Providing sensitive care and support, including nappy changing, feeding, and sleep routines.
  • Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Observing and assessing babies' progress, documenting their development and maintaining accurate records.
  • Building strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the room.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with babies and young children.
  • Deep understanding of child development in the early years.
  • Patient, nurturing, and sensitive individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly observant and able to identify individual needs and milestones.
  • Calm and positive demeanour with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
