Job Summary:

Investigo is seeking a highly skilled Unified Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting unified network-based services, including telephony, mobile services, and video conferencing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the UC network strategy, including network design and roadmap.
  • Ensure the day-to-day operational performance of the UC network meets agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Make changes to the UC network to meet ongoing business demands.
  • Deliver cloud-based telephony systems, including Ring Central and 8x8.
  • Implement continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Respond to critical incidents and provide emergency support.
  • Design and implement network security measures.
  • Manage local area networks, internet services, telephone systems, call centre services, mobile services, video conferencing, and other hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with third-party providers of network services.
  • Design and deliver unified communications solutions.
  • Support fixed line and NGN/VGN services.
  • Implement mobile technology solutions, including hardware and services.
  • Design and deliver video conferencing solutions.
  • Implement rapid deployment connectivity solutions in challenging geographical locations.
  • Manage MDM solutions.
  • Understand customer network systems and both on-premise and cloud Windows environments.

Requirements:

  • Proven technical experience in local area networks, internet services, telephone systems, call centre services, mobile services, video conferencing, telephony, and other hardware and software.
  • Experience working with third-party providers of network services.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and concepts, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
  • Experience running network security.
  • Technical knowledge of customer network systems and both on-premise and cloud Windows environments.
