Job Title: Multimedia StorytellerDescription: We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Storyteller to join our team at NBCU Academy. As a Multimedia Storyteller, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive story plans and editorial strategies. You will work closely with our team to create engaging and informative content for various platforms, including breaking news, investigative stories, and feature stories.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive story plans and editorial strategies.
- Collaborate with producers, reporters, and other team members to create engaging and informative content.
- Conduct research and interviews to gather information and insights for stories.
- Write and edit scripts for broadcast/livestream programs and text pieces for digital platforms.
- Oversee the production process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including network executives, anchors, and other journalists.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
- At least 5 years producing experience at Network level.
- Exceptional research & writing skills.
- Solid working knowledge of TV production and digital platforms.
- Strong news judgment & commitment to accuracy.
- Extensive field experience, particularly in conflict & war zones and/or natural disasters.
Salary: $150,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience. The salary range is based on industry standards for this role and location.
