Philosophy Education is seeking experienced and confident individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools within Waltham Forest.
The role of a Cover Supervisor is crucial in providing support to subject teachers by covering classes and ensuring students are engaged in productive activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for flexible working and gaining experience within the education sector.
Responsibilities:- Provide cover for absent or unavailable teachers in secondary schools.
- Ensure students remain on-task and adhere to classroom rules.
- Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
To be successful as a Cover Supervisor, you should have:
- Previous experience working with children or young people of secondary age.
- A DBS Enhanced disclosure (or be willing to undergo a new check).
- Two professional references related to working with young people.
