Forklift Field Service Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Field Service Engineer to join our team at Luton Bennett. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment in Coventry and Rugby.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
  • Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  • Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  • Spares placed in van overnight
Requirements:
  • Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  • Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
  • Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject

We offer a competitive salary of £33,000 - £34,000, with the opportunity to earn up to £37,000 for engineers with forklift experience. Our benefits package includes paid door-to-door, overtime at 1.5 and 2.0, fully expensed van, fuel card, 6% employer and 4% employee pension, training package, 25 days holiday, bank holidays, IT equipment, uniform, and shopping/discount vouchers.
