About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Mayfield View, a beautiful care home in a fantastic location. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality person-centered care to our residents.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement person-centered care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, adhering to company policies and procedures, NMC guidelines, and GDPR legislation.
• Lead and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
• Conduct regular staff appraisals and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
• Ensure the correct skill mix is maintained on each shift, ensuring the best possible care for our residents.
• Administer and record medication accurately, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Promote a culture of excellence, encouraging residents to participate in activities that enhance their quality of life and wellbeing.
• Take charge of the home in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, ensuring continuity of care and leadership.
• Maintain positive relationships with external multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

About You

We are looking for a qualified nurse with experience in delivering person-centered care. You will be empathetic, friendly, and approachable, with excellent communication skills. A meticulous attention to detail and a drive to provide consistently excellent quality of care are essential. You will be a natural leader, with a track record of motivating a team to achieve outstanding results.
