Leading Quantity Surveyor for Fire Safety Initiatives

A leading property services provider is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee commercial operations for planned and fire safety projects in Chingford, London. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing client and subcontract accounts, ensuring smooth progress from project award to final account.

You will also be expected to oversee procurement of suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure cost-effective, timely project execution. To achieve this, you will need to conduct regular financial reporting, including forecasting, profit/loss analysis, cash flow, and CVR reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, with expertise in measurement, valuation, budgets, and CVR management. Effective leadership skills to manage and develop a small team of commercial professionals are also essential.

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + £6.3k Car Allowance per annum

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or industry qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally with knowledge in planned maintenance and fire risk assessment (FRA) works.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in measurement, valuation, budgets, and CVR management.
  • Effective leadership skills to manage and develop a small team of commercial professionals.
