Lingua Franca Specialist

We're looking for experienced Italian translators to join our team at Outlier and contribute to the development of our AI technology.

This freelance position offers flexibility and independence, allowing you to work remotely and set your own schedule.

About the Role:

• We require fluency in Italian for this position.

As a freelancer, you may be responsible for:

• Evaluating and ranking responses generated by AI models in Italian.
• Crafting original Italian content on a given topic.
• Verifying the factual accuracy of Italian text produced by AI models.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Professional translation experience.
• Demonstrated writing proficiency (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
• Completion of an undergraduate degree in a humanities field or related discipline.
• Enrollment or completion of a graduate program in creative writing.

We offer competitive pay for our freelancers, with average hourly rates ranging from $20 USD per hour for core project work, depending on expertise, skills assessment, location, and project requirements.
