The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in managing financial processes, analyzing performance, and identifying risk. They will be responsible for developing and implementing financial systems and processes to support improved management of the company.

The primary objective of this position is to provide strong leadership and develop systems and processes to support improved management of the company. Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Supporting the preparation of Business Unit realistic and achievable plans and targets
  • Producing all financial information of the Door Group to the Group and to senior and operational management
  • Ensuring full visibility of projects, in terms of sales and profitability, at every stage of their life cycle
  • Actively seeking methods to enhance the overall efficiency and performance of projects
  • Reviewing all financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Developing and delivering improved IT systems to support seamless and accurate financial management
  • Cash flow management
  • Ensuring strong financial governance through effective controls within financial processes
  • Preparing, monitoring, and maintaining monthly/quarterly/annual department and business unit forecasts and budgets
  • Preparing and controlling the monthly management accounts
  • Controlling and reconciling business unit balance sheet
  • Supporting all statutory and legislative financial requirements

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Accountancy (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and previous experience in a senior finance role. They will have functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment. Strong IT skills, including PowerPoint and Excel to an advanced level, are also required.
