Job Title: Senior Finance Business Partner

At Harris Burns Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective financial management of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the efficient management of our finance function and contribute to its day-to-day operations.
  2. Provide financial advice and guidance to non-finance managers, discussing complex financial issues and developing financial plans and forecasts.
  3. Review and maintain the integrity of our general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  4. Support the development of short, medium, and long-term financial plans, including budget setting and costing activities.
  5. Produce internal and external reports on financial performance, highlighting variances to plans and forecasts.
  6. Develop strong relationships with budget holders and Board members, providing financial insights and influencing financial decisions.
  7. Interpret and communicate complex financial information to finance and operational colleagues.
  8. Ensure accurate sales invoicing and review the status of the sales ledger.
  9. Line manage the Finance Analyst, overseeing all aspects of staff management.
Requirements:
  1. Strong financial management and analytical skills, with experience in financial planning and budgeting.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  3. Ability to work autonomously, interpreting policies and standards, and making informed decisions.
  4. Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in staff management and development.
