Job Description: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. You will play a vital role in supporting our students, working closely with teachers and other staff members to ensure every student receives the highest quality education.

About the Position

  1. You will work in a mainstream secondary setting, supporting students from year 7 to 11, and developing your skills in classroom management and pupil engagement.
  2. As a key member of our staff, you will contribute to the development of lesson plans, collaborating with the teaching team to deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  3. Throughout your journey, you will have opportunities for professional growth and development, helping you to become a skilled and confident teaching assistant.

Key Requirements

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is mandatory for this position.
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar setting is required, showcasing your ability to work effectively with students and staff.
