Childcare Support Specialist

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a skilled Childcare Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support to our educators, helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment for children aged 3-5.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the class teacher in lesson preparation, supporting individual and group learning activities, and providing exceptional pastoral care to our students.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering educational activities
  • Support individual and group learning activities, promoting social and emotional development
  • Provide exceptional pastoral care to our students, including support with daily routines and activities
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of child development principles and early years curriculum
  • Qualifications in childcare or education (desired)

Salary Details: The estimated salary for this role is £23,000 per annum, considering the qualifications, experience, and location required for this position.
