Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Game Technology Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing game mechanics, UI/UX, and gameplay prototypes in Unity and Unreal.

You will also be responsible for creating plugins that make it easy for other game developers and studios to integrate our backend systems into their games. Additionally, you will develop and productionize our APIs and web backend stack, assisting other developers to make use of them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement game mechanics, UI/UX, and gameplay prototypes in Unity and Unreal
  • Create plugins that integrate our backend systems into other games
  • Develop and productionize our APIs and web backend stack
  • Write unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests to ensure functionality works as expected
  • Analyze design and technical plans to foresee risk and propose solutions

Requirements:

  • Multiple years of experience developing games in various stages of development lifecycle at a senior level
  • Proficient level C# and C++ skills and Unity + UE4/5 experience
  • Experience architecting and implementing gameplay mechanics and loops, game UI and UX
  • An eye for visual design to create prototypes that look 'good enough' first time around
  • Experience creating production-level / customer-ready Unity and Unreal plugins
  • Experience with Unity and Unreal engine development build distribution
  • Python backend web stack experience
  • Proficiency talking about game design and knowledge of the game landscape
  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently
  • Great communication skills and desire to help others succeed as a team

  • Web app development familiarity
  • Product lifecycle experience
  • Experimented with LLMs / AI NPCs / ML pipelines
  • Experience with MetaHumans, NVIDIA ACE, LangChain
