Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operating Department Practitioner - Anaesthesia to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anaesthetics and operating department practice, with a minimum of 12 months' experience in a healthcare setting. Key responsibilities will include patient monitoring, airway management, and pain management, as well as effective communication and collaboration with surgical and recovery teams.

Salary Information
The salary for this position is estimated at around £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This is a competitive rate that reflects the skills and qualifications required for the role. In addition to this, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes private healthcare and wellness benefits, 25 days holiday (increasing to 30 days with service), and access to a performance-based bonus scheme.

Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • Registration with the NMC or HCPC
  • Minimum 12 months' experience in a healthcare setting, ideally within recovery, anaesthetics, or surgery
  • Competence in clinical skills required for post-anaesthesia recovery, including patient monitoring, airway management, and pain management
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with the surgical and recovery team, patients, and families
