We're seeking an IT Junior Infrastructure Specialist to join our team and contribute to the efficient and dependable support service for our business areas. This role involves working with our creative team to identify and develop systems and processes across all business areas.

The successful candidate will assist our team with day-to-day operations for the security, resilience, backup, and monitoring of our infrastructure services. They'll work on the design, delivery, and operational requirements of technological change across our services and contribute towards the smooth introduction and integration of new and innovative technologies.

This role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team to support the resolution of major incidents and escalated issues affecting infrastructure-hosted services. The successful candidate will also attend sites across our business areas to carry out essential maintenance or installation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • LAN and WAN configuration and diagnostics, including network services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, as well as Wi-Fi configuration and diagnostics.
  • Virtual server architecture, ideally with VMware and virtual desktop architecture, ideally with Citrix XenDesktop.
  • SAN architecture, ideally with NetApp and Cloud platform, Azure and AWS. Applying and reviewing firewall edge security policies.
  • Microsoft Operating Systems and applications, VoIP and SIP solutions, and other backup technologies.
