Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join our team at Evri, a leading logistics and transportation company. As a HGV Class 2 driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of parcels across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles on night shifts, safely transporting parcels to couriers or picking up parcels from clients or delivery units.
- Typically have a run with 10 – 15 drops, ensuring the safe and efficient driving of vehicles and keeping paperwork updated.
- Communicate effectively with the team to report any issues or problems with routes or vehicles.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC, and digital tachograph.
- Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
- Reasonable physical fitness.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of £15.80 with an overtime rate of £23.70 once full-time hours have been completed.
