About the Role

At SEGULA Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Bristol. As a Civil Engineer - Design and Detailing Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and detailing industrial reinforced concrete structures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Receive, analyze, and verify the consistency of input data from other disciplines.
  • Produce deliverables, including design hypotheses, methodology, and assumption notes, technical specifications, and calculation notes.
  • Coordinate the work of CAD Designers.
  • Perform technical verifications of civil engineering design notes, models, and drawings.
  • Contribute to correct design configuration management.
  • Manage the interface with civil designers.
  • Liaise with site-based engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering.
  • Civil engineering design office experience, particularly in the design and detailing of industrial reinforced concrete structures.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Eurocodes related to civil engineering.
  • Knowledge of the design and detailing of reinforced concrete.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations.
