Job Overview

MKM Building Supplies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plumbing and Heating Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our plumbing and heating business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to increase sales and grow the customer base.
  • Provide quotations and solutions to customers, ensuring excellent customer service and product advice.
  • Purchase materials and manage stock levels for the plumbing and heating category.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, both face-to-face and over the telephone, to meet their needs and exceed expectations.
  • Take a proactive approach to sales, identifying opportunities to make or increase sales.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a plumbing and heating merchant environment or a builder's merchant environment.
  • Sound knowledge of plumbing and heating products, with the ability to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Computer literate and proficient in using sales and inventory management systems.
