Financial Analyst (Business Partner) Job Description

Reed is partnering with a world-leading manufacturing business in County Antrim to appoint an experienced Finance Analyst (Finance Business Partner) on a permanent and full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving, market-leading global business with 40 years of successful trading history. The role provides support for the day-to-day financial management across two sites, acting as a business partner to provide timely support, guidance, and business analytics to enable more rounded actions and to support continuous improvement and operations excellence across Operations, R&D, Commercial & Projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support R&D Projects and ensure compliance against IFRS 15
  • Manage projects across the company, ensuring timely and compliant reporting
  • Provide business analytics to support leaders in their drive to measure against standards
  • Support rolling monthly forecasts of variance and ensure reporting deadlines are hit
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Controller on the annual budget process for factory operations
  • Drive the reporting cycle across revenue & standard margin using business analytics tools like Power BI
  • Support Payroll process and ensure robust process controls
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of accounting and financial reporting
  • Support cross-functional efforts to drive efficiency and effectiveness through LEAN processes
  • Maintain relationships with colleagues and explore best practices
  • Develop and maintain continuous development across finance, particularly supporting supply chain
Requirements:
  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a financial role, post-qualification
  • Experience with financial management in manufacturing &/or project accounting on long-term contracts is preferred
  • Experience with financial statement preparation and related audits for statutory reporting is highly preferred
  • Experience with SAP as an ERP system & Power BI as a business analytics tool
  • Superior Excel modelling skills are a must
