Teaching Assistant with Special Needs Expertise

We are seeking a talented Teaching Assistant with Special Needs Expertise to join our specialist SEN school in Horsham, West Sussex.
About the JobAs a Teaching Assistant with Special Needs Expertise, you will work closely with teachers and educators to provide individualised support to children with complex needs. You will contribute to the creation of a tailored educational plan, monitoring student progress and adapting your approach as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote social, emotional, and academic growth in students with special needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver individualised learning activities, leveraging technology and resources to enhance engagement and participation.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making recommendations for future support.
A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or higher is required. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £34,000 - £39,000 per annum, depending on experience.
