About the Role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEMH Behaviour Support Worker to join an outstanding 'Ofsted rated' SEMH School in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a Behaviour Support Worker to work with students who have complex needs including SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), Autism & ADHD. The successful candidate will be working in a specialist setting for boys aged 10-16.

Responsibilities and Requirements

The Behaviour Support Worker will be responsible for providing individualised support to students with challenging behaviour, promoting positive relationships and a safe learning environment.

  • Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous.
  • A passion for working with children with SEMH.
  • Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.
  • You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.

Salary: £90.00 - £100.00 per day.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • GCSE: English & Maths / Level 3 NVQ/CACHE Qualifications.
  • Previous teaching experience is required, ideally within the SEN Sector.
