About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for a Life Cycle Assessment Expert to join our team at DS Smith. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sustainability agenda forward.

\

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive LCAs to evaluate and quantify environmental impacts across the entire product life cycle. You will use your expertise in data analysis and understanding of product footprints from cradle to cradle to prepare detailed reports and share insights with internal and external stakeholders.

\

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in a related field, such as Engineering or Environmental Science, with a focus on life cycle assessment. You must also have demonstratable experience in delivering product life cycle assessments, preferably in manufacturing or related industries.

\

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise and practical experience in applying product LCA methodologies and tools, as well as a strong understanding of sustainability data and IT systems. Knowledge of carbon and environmental accounting standards and experience in reporting is also essential.

\

You will work closely with colleagues around the business to deliver high-quality results. Initiative-taking, detail-orientated and solutions-focused individuals are encouraged to apply.
