Job Title: Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Human Engineering. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of specific projects and work scopes, working in a variety of environments and on a range of equipment worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out project surveys and fault finding on equipment breakdowns.
  • Supervise the installation and commissioning of hydraulic projects, including control system upgrades and crane load protection systems.
  • Support the hydraulics and field service team as required.
  • Prepare technical documents, procedures, work packs, and risk assessments.
  • Specify materials and equipment.
  • Prepare survey and breakdown reports.
  • Lead high-level reviews to ensure project work packs contain all relevant instructions and procedures.
  • Involvement in the build and test of new build/upgrade projects.
  • Prepare certification packs and manuals.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers.
Requirements:
  • BOSIET/FOET certification.
  • MIST certification.
  • Working at height certification.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems on cranes.
  • Appreciation of electrical/automation & control disciplines.
  • Good technical writing skills and proficient use of MS Office applications.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Mechanical or hydraulic apprenticeship.
  • CETOP standard qualification.
  • Level 1 hydraulics training programme.
  • Level 2 hydraulics training programme.
  • BFPA H1 hydraulic competence assessment.
